To Parents of the Class of 2012:
As we conclude the school year, we would like to thank you for your support and involvement in your child’s education. We want to inform you of upcoming activities now, so your family has sufficient time to prepare.
RECOGNITION CEREMONY
Please read the information regarding the Senior Recognition program carefully as this is our most formal and joyous event of the year. Board members, home school principals, superintendents and counselors attend, as well as family members.
The senior ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tri-County Assembly of God, 7350 Dixie Highway, Fairfield, Ohio 45014. Students are expected to arrive at the church by 6:15 p.m. Each participant will be given (8) eight guest tickets for the ceremony. Tickets will be distributed by the career technical instructor on May 11.
a. Student Dress Code: Business interview attire is expected. Students will not be permitted to participate wearing jeans or athletic shoes. Young ladies need to be in conservative attire; no tight, low-cut or revealing apparel; dresses must be at fingertip length or lower. Gentlemen should wear a business shirt and slacks. A tie and jacket are recommended.
b. Senior Breakfast and Ceremony Practice: Students are expected to report to school on May 24, 2012 by 7:50 a.m. Breakfast will begin at 8:05 a.m. Students will be released after the Ceremony Practice if they have their own transportation.
END OF YEAR EXPECTATIONS
Fourth quarter grades are part of the transcript and diploma. All school rules and regulations are still in effect through June 1, 2012. Any financial obligations your son/daughter may have, either at Diamond or their affiliated school, must be met by May 1, 2012 for transfer of credits to occur.
