Lobos Participate in Hour of Code

We live in a world surrounded by technology, knowing whatever our students' chosen field, their ability to succeed will increasingly depend on understanding technology. But too few are learning computer science, with fewer in the last decade. That's why Lehman High School joined Hays High School and schools worldwide for The Hour of Code, described as"the largest learning event in history" recently. Held during Computer Science Education Week. over 100 million students are believed to have participated.

Lobo Digital Learning Coach Caleb Hudgens says the his campus participation "is a statement that Lehman is ready to teach these foundational 21st Century skills. To continue bringing LHS programming activities, we wanted to make our Hour of Code event huge and involve almost every student." Hudgens adds, "This is a chance to change the future of education in Hays CISD."
